Clark Added to USA Basketball Training Camp Roster for 2024 Olympics
Iowa Superstar Continues Dominance, Earns Prestigious Invitation
National Player of the Year Aims for Olympic Glory
Caitlin Clark, the consensus 2023 national player of the year and presumptive 2024 player of the year, has officially been added to USA Basketball's April training camp roster for the Team USA women's basketball team.
The 14-player training camp roster will narrow down to 12 players who will compete in the Paris Olympics in late July. Clark, who has been vocal about her desire to represent Team USA at the Olympics, missed the Olympic training camp in 2023 due to Iowa's NCAA tournament run.
Clark's inclusion on the training camp roster is a testament to her incredible talent and dominance on the court. She has been the face of women's basketball for the past several years, breaking numerous records and leading Iowa to unprecedented success.
The camp roster includes 13 current WNBA players and one college player (Clark). Clark is tentatively scheduled to attend training camp pending Iowa's progress in the NCAA tournament. However, her addition to the roster is a strong indication that she is a top candidate to make the final Olympic team.
