CINCINNATI, Ohio – Former President Donald Trump has selected U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate, Trump announced on social media Monday.
Vance, 38, is a first-term senator who was elected in 2022 with Trump's endorsement. He is a conservative Republican who has been a vocal supporter of Trump's policies.
Vance and his wife, Usha, have been married since 2014 and have three children. Usha is a physician and author. The couple lives in Cincinnati.
