Robert Cortopassi to Lead Company's Next Chapter of Growth

Global Payments Inc. (GPN), a leading worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions, today announced the appointment of Robert Cortopassi as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 1, 2024. Cortopassi will join Global Payments' Executive Committee and report to Cameron Bready, Chairman and CEO.

Cortopassi has over 30 years of experience in the payments industry, with a strong track record of success in product development, sales, and marketing. He joins Global Payments from PSCU, where he served as President and CEO for the past five years. Before PSCU, Cortopassi held leadership positions at TSYS, Elavon, and Visa. In these roles, he was responsible for driving product innovation, developing and executing growth strategies, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
